probably from calculating the stars and planet movements and thought at some point of time it will create an imbalance? First of all do you consider yin and yang as real? If you do then you got to ask yourself how is it possible. and if you mix yin and yang with stars calculations then its not surprising how we can predict what may happen to us in the future. Yin and yang is a formula which if you take or add from a perfect balanced energy creates an infinite possibilities of outcome.

yeah when you hear something about end of the world of the extinction of humanity, is not accurate. instead it's a form of transformation of humanity itself. do have some faith mystical things because if life were just about being born and then died this doesn't really tell us much about life now does it?

There is so much we DON'T know about our world and our time here, if we believe in a God . . .and also in a Savior . . .life as we know it will never end but continue to evolve. Let's remember that in the Bible, Soddham and Gommorah were destroyed because of their lack of respect and love for our fellow man and in turn our God. How far from Soddham and Gommorah are we at this point in time? Perhaps 2012 is a metaphor or a target date. Or perhaps still, the 10th Planet "Neburu" will make it's return. If you believe in the Mayans and the Sumarians you MUST take this into consideration . . .perhaps the Dinosaurs could better tell us to be ready at any time (as the Bible also states) because we know not when the end will come. Just a few thoughts.

I strongly believe that the world will end in 2012. From very young I have been reading Gnostics Books, and u wouldn't believe it but it was predicted by Sir Samael Waur. U should take a look at those books and realize that it's not only the Mayans but Gnostics, Arabs,and chinese predicting the end of the world.

Many people believe it is a time for Apocalypse. Which doesn't necessarily mean End so much as a Revelation, conflict or Shift.
It could be a Global Climate change, or a move away from industrialization towards synergy or knowledge based cultures.

In watching the History Channels "The Lost Book of Nostrodamus", he describes that a cataclysmic event will occur in the year 2012 around Nov-Dec. It is interesting to note that NASA also has a solar event or solar storm that will occur around Dec-2012, go to their website: Http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2006/10mar_stormwarning.htm

Another prediction is also noted by most Hebrew scholars who have studied the "Bible Code" (this code)predicts major destruction in the year 2012. So it isn't just the Mayans predicting this.

The Mayan calendar and Nostrodamus do not predict the end of the world, but rather the end of the world as we know it. This could mean a lot of destruction from a meteor or asteroid or from a nuclear attack. BTW: The Lost book of Nostrodamus will be airing again on tuesday or Wednesday of the week of October 30-31 on the history channel. in truth, we are all dead people, death is our homecoming. it could happen at any event and it doesnt has to be in the year 2012. whats more important is how we can make peace together in this little planet of ours, knowing the way we live our lives isnt working, etc. perhaps 2012 is the year our planet advances by first destroying the unnecessary craps that have stained our livelihood.

Instead of clawing out ideas from the old books of religion, look at today's science. It has been theorized, recently mind you, that in 2012 the Earth as a whole will move into 4th density existence. At that exact moment it is also theorized that the Earth's magnetosphere will disappear for a brief time. With no magnetosphere to protect the Earth, "alien" particles will bombard it from all directions. Among these particles will be from solar winds which carry extreme levels of radiation. Radiation causes mutations on many levels including DNA structure. Now. Say that simotaneously the entire human race was exposed, shoved into a greater density of energy, slapped in the face with radiation of unknown levels, and then was set back into motion like nothing happened... My theory is a huge leap in evolution. The same leap that has happened every 26 million years for as far back as present day instruments can date. Now not every evolution leap was met with an extinction level event, but the possibilty isn't ruled out. I'll leave the rest for the birds to scratch up and pick apart... enjoy.

it is true - I'm starting to witness articles about government secrets, psychics, paranormal, etc, being aired/printed in news. in the past this wouldn't have been possible.

what's more interesting was a critic blamed the mainstream media are misleading the public and corrupted, and one of the news company, being one of the victim from the comments, actually had printed it in their own website. normally companies won't do that, instead keep it unknown.

i believe i could understand why some people don't bother believing in 2012 drama; because they are fed up with lies and promises being not fulfilled; and also there are people who don't believe in it the same way that they don't believe in miracles, Jesus, magics, psychics, and all the other related phenomenons. and at the same time, the talks about what's going to happen in 2012 may not actually come true. and that's the case, this is another lie and broken promises.

so, to me, i cannot blame these people. we could be wrong about this 2012 event and we could be right, also. all i can say is, like the rest of the comments made by others, is that peace always our top priority agenda, no matter what.

and about whether to believe or not to believe, i would suggest them to just stay in the middle so that you are always be prepared for any outcome until you finally decide on your own.

I surfed for this site hoping to know if the information I got from a certain group is known by other people. I was surprised many people knew about December 2012 - but the day given to us is 22 Dec 2012. Accordingly, a group of NASA scientists have predicted that with the rate the ozone layer is depleting, it will end up exposing the earth to the radiation of the sun and other alien bodies which will eventually lead to global destruction. It's scary ... may be true.

In 2012, Nasa has already predicted major solar winds reaching earth. In turn, the solar wind (like a lightning strike) will reverse the earth's poles causing it to spin in the opposite direction. Now imagine all possible casatrophic events. Those who are prepared will be the only with a chance for survival. Look it up in all ancient cultures. It has happened before. Ok... the Bible code, I-Ching, Mayans, Nostrodamus, Hebrew writings & more all saying the same thing! What's odd is they were written thousands of miles apart and in some cases 1-2000 years apart at a time when there was no worldwide communication or travel (that we know of) and most thought the world was flat. Yet, there were understandings of the universe that enabled them to put together the Zodiac, build pyramids, Stonehedge, etc that perfectly aligned with stars and planet alignment at a time when they lived a 3rd world life style. It seems to me this info didn't come from man rather a much higher intelligence. If, i thought it were man that came up with this it wouldn't bother me at all but, i don't! Man came up with the y2k bug! So, look to science and world events that could cause castrophic events that coincide with this 2012 date and expect one of them to be real... i.e. Islamic Radical Fundamentalist setting off nuclear explosions in our cities, Iran provocing us into what could be a 3rd world war (backed by China and Russia), China with their post nuclear nano space weapons (google that), solar winds, there is an astroid already numbered and being tracted that will come between the satelites and the earth and return 7 years later without us knowing at this time how gravitational forces will effect its course the 2nd time around? And of course, there is global warming which i do not blame on man. It is simply the Earth purifing herself by natural cycle that has gone on since the beginning of time on earth. It is man's limitless ego that allows him to think he has enough to do with it as to change it, let alone cause it. It reminds me of when man thought the Sun and Stars were put there for his single purpose! Think of the intelligence that was required to do the things that were done supposedly by man thousands of years ago while he lived with fire, the wheel and the belief the world was flat and tell me he come up with these abilities on his own? Laughable! Same goes with 2012...

well. they have been an increase in UFO sightings that's for sure. Not only that we're starting to see mainstream media becoming more open to these possibility (ie the UFOs).

But remember, if it happens it happens, if it didn't it didn't. no need to cry and scream about it.

Sometimes you just have to let yourself open to these ideas, even if it's strange. Like how we be so naive and think life is like two arms and two legs, born from our mother's womb-- learn how to talk-- learn how to eat -- then go to school and go to jobs. The universe is so big you think we're the only dudes exist? And we can't help but have to ask why is it the feeling of goodness and love means so much to us? Why is that feelings can be understood even if me and you speak different languages and surpasses any kind of communication mediums?

So I would invite others to be open with these possibilities making sure don't cross the line or else you would lean too much on one side of the boat.

I never felt it would be the end of time, but if the mantel of the earth does shift when the earth is alined with the black whole at the center of our universe, it could cause earth wide distriction. Perhaps the end of life as we know it. I've lived my whole life not knowing about these damn things, and I wish I didn't know of the possibality now. Terriorisum was scary enough! I've decided to take up Archery and Survival. If I survive maybe I will be able to hunt and know how to take care of myself. And it never hurts to learn. I guess if a woman can raise three children on her own she can learn to hunt and survive on her own.

Mathew 24:36 states, But of that day and hour knoweth no man,no not the angels of heaven,nor the Son, but my Father only.So anyone who says it is a certain date is proven wrong, but what every one is right about is that we will know an approximate time by the things going on in the world.Read Mathew 24. It talks about the love of many growing cold.And when abominations are everywhere like today.Know that it is near.I am just a normal person who has believed in God almost all of my life. I accepted Christ as my savior because if you look at the whole picture here, we must have done something wrong to have to live in a world like this. Well when I accepted Jesus,the whole thing made sense ,like GOD took the blind fold off of my eyes and I could see the truth .We left GOD ,He did not leave us and when you go back to him, He shows you the whole thing and you just look at unsaved people and think ,Oh my GOD,I used to be that blind also and it makes you feel terrible for them. They do not know the truth because they have not accepted that they sined against a sinless GOD and need a savior to return to that GOD. This is not religion its reality because it happened to me when I got saved .Something inside happens and you say- NOW I GET IT.
Im just on here talking because I do not think GOD is going to be patient much longer and something IS telling me time IS running out QUICKLY for the unsaved.I only hope somebody will listen.

Yes that is right... Iran! Mahmoud Ahmadinejad thinks that he is chosen by Allah (the moon god) to bring about the diaster that must come to past to prepare the way for the coming of the Madhi (the Islamic Messiah or 12th Imam). A

It is simply overwhelmingly interesting that the many predictions written so many years ago in so many places so far from each other writes the same thing i.e. about a diaster in 2012 and that comes at the same time Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's preparedness to deliver such a prediction unfolds! April 14th. I understand your concern, but that is because here on Earth we still lack the fundamental knowledge about life.

Many people were brought up and were taught many spiritual things but very less on the matter of death.

Consider one thing, that the universe have existed way longer than we can imagine and in it, exists life. Surely there is must be something bigger going on about life. If life is about birth and then death then that doesn't say much about life, now does it?

ok, so, i think that the world will NOT end in 2012. I think it will be the beginning of the end. There's supposed to a peace treaty signed in the middle est i think? when that's signed, it marks that 7 year tribulation. 3 1/2 years will go by very smoothly and then it'll start to get bad. someone's gonna brake the peace treaty and there's gonna be wars. but, there one specific one that right before it, god will stop it. That's where i think it'll end.

I have read a lot of ignorant remarks and even a few intelligent blogs...The only thing I can say is, this whole 2012 thing is quite convincing. As stated previously...This date is referenced by not only the Mayans, but the Chinese, Nostradaumus and several religions, not a bunch of computer scientists worrying about whether or not computers will be able to process the year 00. I have done a little research and actually found an interesting fact. The science of Numerology has a letter for every number. With this said 12/21/12 abba ab. ABBA AB when read backwards as is the Hebrew language translates to Fathers Coming. Kinda makes me think back to the movie Signs when they were having the conversation about whether or they believe in miracles or coincidence. We Christians of course believe in miracles and as odd as it may sound thinking something great WILL happen is rather comforting. And as far as the lady worried about not seeing her children/grandchildren grow up should take comfort knowing the world will NEVER end. Just read the bible. There hasn't been a scientist yet that has been able to disprove the bible yet there are so many skeptics. If you believe in the Lord then you have nothing to fear.

Listen, first off, the whole Mayan thing is completely stupid. The Mayan's just had phases and 2012 happens to be the end of a certain phase, we've gone through the other phases... they never specified 2012 as being a unique end to a phase. In fact, much of their books and calendars were destroyed, so all the research went up to 2012.. soo.. the stuff that was destroyed may have gone on further, probably did. Also, Mayans believed in continuous cycles, so they didn't believe the world would end.
Also, Nostradamus was VERY off in a lot of his predictions, and they were vague.
A lot of people are drinking from the conspiracy cup and ignoring HARD FACTS. Put down the Enquirer and watch some HISTORY channel.

As with the antichrist thing as someone mentioned.. do your research.. that word is mentioned twice in the bible and end-times scenarios have been allusions to current happenings during the time of the writings.

NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN 2012 THAT IS UNUSUAL.

2012; An interesting date, no doubt. I see a lot of people posting have become entertained by the idea of the end of the world in the next 4 years. I believe this topic comes down to Science vs Religion; Fact vs Belief. From this basis, What is fact? Something that is held to be true.
What is truth? a fact that can be verified. Here seems to unfold a very important realization to me.
There are forces in this universe that humans cannot comprehend. Do we know something will happen in 2012 because a human says so? We look to facts for the very foundations of our intellect. I've grown tired of facts. Now is the time for belief.
One cannot solve 2+2 if he does not first believe in Mathematics. Just as one cannot fall backwards into the hands of another without first believing, they would be saved. When an infant is born, the infant does not know for fact the woman holding him/her is their mother, however, they believe whoever or whatever it is they see is their creator. You have to look at the root of the problem, which is, not knowing anything about 2012or life in general for certain. There is a saying, 'the only thing for certain in this universe is uncertainty.'
' the only thing i know, is that i know nothing.'
The only thing i'm really trying to get across in this rant is that in the end, the only fact or truth that will remain in this world is that which is right.

Instead of clawing out ideas from the old books of religion, look at today's science. It has been theorized, recently mind you, that in 2012 the Earth as a whole will move into 4th density existence. At that exact moment it is also theorized that the Earth's magnetosphere will disappear for a brief time. it is true - I'm starting to witness articles about government secrets, psychics, paranormal, etc, being aired/printed in news. in the past this wouldn't have been possible.

what's more interesting was a critic blamed the mainstream media are misleading the public and corrupted, and one of the news company, being one of the victim from the comments, actually had printed it in their own website. normally companies won't do that, instead keep it unknown.

i believe i could understand why some people don't bother believing in 2012 drama; because they are fed up with lies and promises being not fulfilled; and also there are people who don't believe in it the same way that they don't believe in miracles, Jesus, magics, psychics, and all the other related phenomenons. and at the same time, the talks about what's going to happen in 2012 may not actually come true. and that's the case, this is another lie and broken promises.

so, to me, i cannot blame these people. we could be wrong about this 2012 event and we could be right, also. all i can say is, like the rest of the comments made by others, is that peace always our top priority agenda, no matter what.

and about whether to believe or not to believe, i would suggest them to just stay in the middle so that you are always be prepared for any outcome until you finally decide on your own.

In 2012, Nasa has already predicted major solar winds reaching earth. In turn, the solar wind (like a lightning strike) will reverse the earth's poles causing it to spin in the opposite direction. Ok... the Bible code, I-Ching, Mayans, Nostrodamus, Hebrew writings & more all saying the same thing! What's odd is they were written thousands of miles apart and in some cases 1-2000 years apart at a time when there was no worldwide communication or travel (that we know of) and most thought the world was flat. Yet, there were understandings of the universe that enabled them to put together the Zodiac, build pyramids, Stonehedge, etc that perfectly aligned with stars and planet alignment at a time when they lived a 3rd world life style. Man came up with the y2k bug! well. they have been an increase in UFO sightings that's for sure. Not only that we're starting to see mainstream media becoming more open to these possibility (ie the UFOs).

But remember, if it happens it happens, if it didn't it didn't. no need to cry and scream about it.

Sometimes you just have to let yourself open to these ideas, even if it's strange. I never felt it would be the end of time, but if the mantel of the earth does shift when the earth is alined with the black whole at the center of our universe, it could cause earth wide distriction. I have done a little research and actually found an interesting fact. The science of Numerology has a letter for every number. With this said 12/21/12 abba ab. ABBA AB when read backwards as is the Hebrew language translates to Fathers Coming. Kinda makes me think back to the movie Signs when they were having the conversation about whether or they believe in miracles or coincidence. We Christians of course believe in miracles and as odd as it may sound thinking something great WILL happen is rather comforting. And as far as the lady worried about not seeing her children/grandchildren grow up should take comfort knowing the world will NEVER end. Just read the bible. Listen, first off, the whole Mayan thing is completely stupid. The Mayan's just had phases and 2012 happens to be the end of a certain phase, we've gone through the other phases... they never specified 2012 as being a unique end to a phase. In fact, much of their books and calendars were destroyed, so all the research went up to 2012.. soo.. the stuff that was destroyed may have gone on further, probably did. Also, Mayans believed in continuous cycles, so they didn't believe the world would end.
Also, Nostradamus was VERY off in a lot of his predictions, and they were vague.

2012; An interesting date, no doubt. I see a lot of people posting have become entertained by the idea of the end of the world in the next 4 years. I believe this topic comes down to Science vs Religion; Fact vs Belief. From this basis, What is fact? Something that is held to be true.
What is truth? a fact that can be verified. Here seems to unfold a very important realization to me.
There are forces in this universe that humans cannot comprehend. Do we know something will happen in 2012 because a human says so? We look to facts for the very foundations of our intellect. I've grown tired of facts. Now is the time for belief.
One cannot solve 2+2 if he does not first believe in Mathematics. Just as one cannot fall backwards into the hands of another without first believing, they would be saved. When an infant is born, the infant does not know for fact the woman holding him/her is their mother, however, they believe whoever or whatever it is they see is their creator. You have to look at the root of the problem, which is, not knowing anything about 2012or life in general for certain. There is a saying, 'the only thing for certain in this universe is uncertainty.'

Yeah, i believe it is a coincidence of little importance. Industrialization is affecting more than just the honey bees, i'm afraid. Some would say it's the 'machine', also known as our government that is responsible for our atrocities. What you need to pay attention to is the growing number of natural disasters around the globe. Think of Katrina, Burma, the floods in the Midwest of the United States, Tornadoes and earthquakes in random states that normally recieve very few to none. Not the honey bees in your wifes' flower bed. :) Recently on CNN, reporters calculated something to the degree of 42 tornadoes in the span of 4 states in the exact same timeframe of the Burma incident. Coincedental? I think not. I believe what we are looking at is the beginning of a very disoriented and aggressive cycle of weather heading our way. Dear Mother Nature is not happy with the way we have treated her.
On a cooler note, I'm curious to see what effects the Solar Eclipse will have on the weather in 2012.

This is a very interesting subject. One to be explored for sure. The bee's are one thing. I have noticed that there are different species of bugs that I have never seen before. Are they confused? Like they don't know where to go? Are they native from some where else? What about some birds that are migrating to places they have never migrated to before? Or the whales that are being found beached off waters they have never traveled before? This topic does raise questions for sure. The fact no matter what your beliefs are, that something is happening to the earth. I have read these comments, and the only thing I have noticed is that there is no answer, but only more questions.

Well if you add up the time in the Bible to the end - they say it adds up to 2019 and this is when the Earth will end with Jesus returning. But then you need to subtract the Tribulation time, which is a 7 year period (Read Daniel). So this puts us to the year 2012 again. So many Christians believe that this will be the year of the Rapture when all the saved ones trusting in Jesus will be snatched off the face of the Earth (I Thesolonians and Revelation - and others). There will not be any Christians on the world any more to warn these unbelievers, so they will just be left to their own false gods and government. Many of them will perish in the time following. Can we please stop using religion as a crutch for the unexplained. I believe blogs and other application of the internet are the greatest tool for communication and learning in our current society, so let us disscus possible theories based on facts and previous studies. I respect the bible in the sense that it has many ethical and moral teachings but it was written with no factual evidence of any kind, and just because it says its true does not make it so. The myan calendar, if you have done any research on it, says that the current state of consciousness will change, which has happened time and time again according to there records. I don't believe it but i find it interesting to study..

If you take a look at the latest weather developements around the globe, you'll find that we're currently experiencing the worst weather systems (storms, floods, droughts, etc..)
Summer being hotter than usual, winters being colder, etc

Last month, Spain and South Western France got hit by their worst storm in over a decade (it blew in from the Atlantic)

South Australia is currently suffering their worst heat waves...the death toll is still rising

Still on Australia, North Eastern Queensland is suffering one of it's worst floods

In the Pacific, Fiji suffered it's worst floods to date

England is getting one of it's worst snow falls..and so on, etc..

It'll all start slow at first and then later down the track, meteorologists will be baffled at what's causing these events..

Minor quakes will get stronger..

You'll find volcanic eruptions starting soon..actually one's already under way in Japan and there's more to come...

It'll all start from this year on..after all we're only about 3 & 3/4 years from 2012..

Also from around May this year, we'll be able to see the Planet Nibiru aka Planet X with our very own naked eyes, it'll appear as a bright red star...the Southern Hemisphere will get the best views of it..

And then there's the current economic crisis where most of the big countries are in recession...thousands losing their jobs, etc..

Not to mention, we only have one pope left according to St. Malachy and the current pope is in his 80's...what a coincidence!!

I have reading everyone's comments on here, and I have been trying to find a way to write something that wouldn't piss some off, yet get everyone to understand what I am trying to convey. If I offend anyone, truly, I am sorry.

With that said, I am a little nervous about 2012. I have a 5 year old son who I can't imagine ever losing, and for us to not be together would be tragedy to me. But, I know there is hope because I do consider myself a Christian and I am hoping by 2012, that my son will follow in my beliefs. So whether the world ends, or goes on living, I trust I'll be with him again.

I am nervous though because as a human being, I don't want to see death and destruction. I am scared, not only for myself but everyone. I believe there are things that our governments are not telling us, and I also believe they don't intend to tell us until to late or ever. For those who do believe in God and even those who do not, you have admit that something has been brewing over the last few years, whether it is hotter climates, global warming, war, etc. Something is going on and it is going to come to a head pretty soon. Sadly, I believe we're all going to be ill-prepared for when the bubble does burst.

I have made it a habit to start doing alot of research lately on what is going on within this world, and I have to admit that I believe we are witnessing the coming of God. No, I am not a religious fanatic so please don't think that. And if you don't believe, that's all good too. But something spiritual and BIG is going to happen in 2012 and I believe it will either be the rapture, or the beginning of the 7 year tribulation.

Step back for a moment and roll with me on this one: War is occurring ALL over this world, climates are shifting, the Earth is physically tiring out, governments are in upheaval, people are broke, etc. The US has a brand new President whom everyone loves (and if you say you don't, you're not being totally truthful) and he is from Middle Eastern descent at that. He vows peace and love between the nations, and promises a "change" as well. (Don't get me wrong, I voted for him too!)

Do you all see where I am heading with this? Just watch....over the next few years, we will see peace treaties signed between warring nations, those in financial ruin will be on top again, etc. When these things start happening, you can bet the AntiChrist has taken his seat on Earth and is just waiting for the next battle - the one he has with God!

Long, crazy talk in short: something IS going to happen in 2012. It may not be a comet smashing into Earth, or the poles reversing, but it will be something much bigger than all those combined!

If you don't believe, just watch what happens in the next few years.....I guarantee you that scientists will suddenly "find" a cure for AIDS, cancer and the common cold, and won't it be convenient because what stands in the way of scientific funds? Government holds on research money....the AntiChrist is viewed as a miraculous healer you know......

The way i see it only Four outcomes that can happen.

1. Nothing happens in 2012 and we then move onto discussing the posibility of the world ending at another date.
2. We are so busy thinking something big will happen that we miss what it was. (E.g. An election)
3. It turns out to be a spiritual rebirth and either all those bad people go to hell or we look at life as a gift from then onwards.
4. It is the apocalypse and everyone goes mad trying to find a way to survive some turn to religion others simply run.

My vote is for the End of the World. If i am going to Heaven or hell then i dont want to go there alone. If there is nothing after life then i suppose a post apocalyptic planet is the perfect way to live on your last days as you will do what you want knowing your going to die soon.

Otherwise I will be stuck on this planet another 50 or so years. Hopefully something does happen in 2012 then all us conspiracy followers can finally prove our point.

The main proponent of this specific end-date,Jose Arguelles, is not in fact Mayan, and no where previous to his interactions with the Maya is there evidence of a specific "end date" with regards to the Mayan calender. I have 6 babies. My mom is a Christian with many praying friends. My sister and her husband have like 3 master degrees each about bible things and history. My father is new ager & believes in crystals and spiritual planes and whatnot. I have just been living my life trial after trial trying to survive, and not understanding anything cause it seems to me that life is just one big confusing goodbye after one more painful goodbye. I am not suicidal however I personally am tired and will be happy when it is time for it to be over. To actually be a witness to everyone else who thinkds their own worlds are more special, I will be happy to see them get a taste of reality before their end is here too.
I am not sure what is going to happen. I am one of those people who in school was ahead of everyone. I am intelligent, never really cared though. I watched a Nostordomos show when I was like 12 years old and it blew me away. But I also truely believe this is what will be. Every day of life is difficult to grab the exact reason for all the pain in the world. So many unfair things, so many hungry, so much bad and greed. At this rate there is no hope for the children as it stands anyway. I might sound like a depressed pregnant lady, true, but not the point, my senses are heightened when I am pregnant anyway. My father thinks if enough people think a certain way, it is bound to go in that direction as to be true. It is too late to change everyones mind. We are all going to have to witness some really stinking bad problems. But most of us are already living it today, so the only thing I can say is, I am the one who stood in line for the rollercoaster, I am going to try to keep my eyes open for that first real big hill.
